I am at times amazed that people today have to be shown basic housekeeping skills, I’m only in my 50’s, but I do remember that even though my mom worked part time, the house was kept up, she cooked, canned, sewed. I work more than my mom or mother-in- law ever did outside of the house, but still keep,our home decent. Believe it or not…but many teenagers I work with question why cooking, sewing, basic household repair, etc., aren’t even taught at school anymore.
